Leading British manufacturer Ideal Commercial Boilers is proud to announce that the majority of its condensing boilers are now included on the Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) Energy Technology List (ETL).
The complete Imax Xtra EL range has recently been added to the ETL, joining its Evomax, Imax Xtra and Evomod stablemates. Ideal Commercial Boilers can now offer a wide range of wall hung and floor standing condensing boilers that offer customers attractive tax savings.
The ETL is a Government-managed list of energy efficient plant and machinery products and is part of the ECA tax scheme for businesses. The ECA scheme effectively allows a business to invest in energy saving equipment which might otherwise prove too expensive, meaning that the company is able to justify a replacement rather than a repair. This is extremely beneficial to the buyer as it means that the company can set 100% of the cost of the asset against taxable profits in a single tax year, effectively writing off the cost against the business’s taxable profits in the financial year the purchase was made.
For a product to be included on the ETL, it must meet specific energy-saving or energy-efficient criteria and the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) annually reviews the technologies and products that qualify for inclusion. All four of the Ideal Commercial Boilers ranges now included on the ETL outperform the 2015 ErP requirements for maximum points on the BREEAM scale. In addition, the Imax Xtra EL, launched in 2016 and a finalist in the 2016 HVR Commercial Heating Product Of The Year Award, is the only UK boiler to be awarded a Class 6 NOx rating.
The first choice for a growing number of specifiers within the building industry, Ideal Commercial Boilers condensing boiler range continues to lead the way in providing high quality, energy efficient heating solutions.
